Paint Correction & Ceramic Coating
Gtechniq ceramic coatings are a high performance protective solution for vehicle surfaces designed to shield paintwork and maintain a cars pristine appearance after our paint correction service. One of the key advantages of Gtechniq coatings is its hardness. Typical clearcoat has a 2H-4H rating on the "pencil hardness scale". In contrast, Gtechniqs coatings are generally in the 8H-9H range, making them considerably harder than factory paint. This added hardness helps protect your paint against light scratches, swirl marks, and other minor abrasions that could occur during washing or everyday driving.

High grade thickness
Another key benefit of ceramic coating is its hydrophobic ability. This means that water, along with dirt, grime, and contaminants, easily slides off the surface. As a result, your car stays cleaner for longer, and maintenance washes are much quicker and easier.
Gtechniqs high grade coatings are engineered for longevity. Unlike traditional waxes and sealants that last only a few months, a professionally installed ceramic coating can last for up to 5 years with minimal maintenance, making it a cost effective option in the long run. The coatings we use are MUCH thicker than a regular wax or sealant. A layer of wax is only about a 1/4 of a micron thick, meanwhile a professional coating is typically around 5 microns thick.
Please keep in mind that although these toppings are extremely durable, they are not bulletproof and need to be maintained in order for them to do their job. The car should be hand washed every 2-4 weeks if possible. We can go over a wash regimen with you to ensure you are doing everything possible to minimize inflicting swirls and thus preserving the life of the coating. Ceramic coatings are like Gore-Tex. They will continue to repel water and dirt as long as the coating is kept clean and in good condition. Not washing regularly or coming in for the annual visit to have your paint decontaminated could cause premature failure of your coating.

Self-Healing Paint Protection Film
Paint Protection Film is the best form of defense you can establish between your car and all that can damage your car’s appearance. Because of Paint Protection Film’s high impact resistance, its application will protect your paint from chips and scratches caused by rocks and road debris. The urethane film is resistant to corrosion and acidic contaminants, meaning that it creates a line of defense from chemical stains and etching caused by bird droppings, bug splatter, or mineral deposits and acid rain. It does not oxidize with exposure to the sun, and will guard your paint from fading caused by UV rays. The top layer of a quality film is made up of elastomeric polymers that return to their natural shape after being stretched or disfigured, giving the film a “self-healing” property. That means when light scratches are inflicted in the film, it absorbs the damage and returns to the texture and properties it had before the incident.
